The « CIPA (Centre International de Phonétique Appliquée– International Centre of Applied Phonetics), Languages, Cooperation, Development and Culture of Peace », a nonprofit organization founded in 1964, was created to promote language teaching through oral communication. Thanks to this prospect, the CIPA promoted, through collaborated publishing, research works and essays. After the first and main collection « Language and Society », other collections came along, like « Linguistique Diversity and Society », (in collaboration with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie), « Memory of Society », « Language Teaching » and « Research in Speech » (in collaboration with the AFCP).
成立於1964年的應用語音學國際中心CIPA為非營利組織，主要藉由口語傳播，並以合作出版、發行研究著作及論文的形式來推廣語言教學。在出版了「語言與社會」首本主要著作後，接著發行與法語圈國際組織合作的「語言多樣性與社會」、「社會的記憶」、「語言教學」以及與法語口語傳播協會合作的「語音研究」。
